INSPIRE
In collaboration with our partners that include Firestone, Dallara, PRI, Bell Helmet and IMS, The Della Penna Foundation is holding the third annual Della Penna Inspire Program over three days with 34 girls who will visit and talk to women about their journeys in motorsports.
INITIATE
Last December, WIMNA held their annual conference in Indianapolis at the same time as PRI. Susan Lucas-Conwell brought a small group of local high school girls to meet members of the Della Penna Drivers Advisory Council and see what it’s like to be with hundreds of women in motorsports from around the world.
TRAIN & COMPETE
Thanks to a successful Giving Tuesday campaign in 2023, the Foundation offered four Della Penna Fellowships in 2024. Girls shadowed women at General Motors Motorsports Engineering, the Sonoma Raceway and in Indianapolis with both George 4 / Andretti and the IMS/Speedway.

LEARN & EXPERIENCE

Foundation will offer offered three Della Penna Fellowships in 2025. Girls will shadow women in North Carolina with General Motors Motorsports Engineering and in Indianapolis with Dallaraand IMS/Speedway.

Della Penna took a group of 27 girls for a 3-day program in Indianapolis May 18-20th, 2024
The Della Penna Foundation was delighted to bring a group of local HS girls to Indianapolis that included trips to the Indianapolis Speedway, IUPUI/Purdue, Dallara, & FastTimes Karting to learn about all of the career opportunities in motorsports available to women.
We also held our 2nd annual fundaraiser hosted by the good people at High Alpha.
